The Pomona Unified School Mental Health Department, in collaboration with the School Counselors and Career Center, proudly hosted a Mental Health Awareness Fair at Diamond Ranch High School on Thursday, May 21. The event brought together a variety of community organizations dedicated to supporting student wellness and mental health awareness.
Students had the opportunity to connect with local agencies, explore available resources, and engage in meaningful conversations about mental health in a welcoming and supportive environment. During lunchtime, DRHS School Counselors also led calming and de-stressing activities to help students recharge and practice self-care.
Mental health awareness on our campuses matters deeply. Students deserve spaces where they feel seen, supported, and reminded that caring for their mental health is just as important as caring for their physical health. Positive mental health habits play a vital role in learning, personal growth, healthy relationships, and showing up each day as our best selves.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all of the agencies, staff members, and partners who participated and helped make this event possible. Every conversation, resource, and moment of connection made a meaningful impact on our students.
